Mohammad Sabbir Rahman is an accomplished and highly regarded Principal Consultant in civil and structural engineering, specializing in seismic design, vibration control, and advanced structural optimization. With a distinguished academic background and over 10 years of experience in both academia and industry, he offers unparalleled expertise in designing and analyzing resilient structures for earthquake resistance, vibration attenuation, and performance optimization.

He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kunsan National University, South Korea, where he was awarded the prestigious Brain Korea 21 Plus (BK21+) scholarship funded by the South Korean government. His undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering was completed at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Mohammad’s advanced studies, including his extensive research on Tuned Mass Dampers (TMD), Tuned Liquid Dampers (TLD), and multi-mode vibration control, have positioned him as a leading expert in seismic response reduction and vibration mitigation for complex structures.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor  at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), he has consistently demonstrated a passion for teaching, research, and applying cutting-edge engineering solutions to real-world problems. His professional journey includes notable roles as a Structural Engineer at Bureau Veritas Bangladesh and as a Design Engineer at MAK Consultants, where he was responsible for structural design, detailed engineering assessments, and optimization for a wide range of building and industrial projects.
